Moisture collectors for basements
Both types of dehumidifiers can be used for basements, both absorption and condensation, the latter being suitable if you need to quickly remove moisture from the basement, or if you can maintain a higher temperature. If the temperature in the basement is always low and you are buying with the aim of the dehumidifier operating at 5-15 degrees, then choose an absorption one. Unventilated, cool basement rooms form a dew point, and due to humidity, dust and other dirt settle more quickly in water pools, which start to grow mold.
