SBA pool dehumidifiers

The SBA series dehumidifiers are specifically designed for use in swimming pool areas or other humid areas where humidity needs to be carefully controlled to ensure optimum comfort. This series consists of five models with capacities ranging from 50 to 200 l/24h. The SBA units are designed for easy maintenance and service, with every part being easily accessible and, if necessary, easily replaceable, thus reducing service and maintenance costs. Temperature and humidity probes are available as accessories on request.

The efficiency is calculated at low fan speed and under the following conditions:

(1) Temperature 30°C; Humidity 80%.
(2) Without electric heater.
(3) Room temperature 30°C; water temperature 80/70°C, compressor off
(4) Sound power level calculated according to ISO 9614.
(5) Sound pressure level measured at a distance of 1 m from the device under free field conditions according to ISO 9614.

Frame

All SBA units are made of hot-dip galvanized thick sheet metal, painted with polyurethane powder enamel at 180°C to ensure the best resistance to atmospheric agents and operation in aggressive environments. The frame is self-supporting, with removable panels. All units are equipped with a PVC drip tray. Color white RAL 9010.

The contour of the refrigerator

The refrigerant circuit is manufactured using international primary brand components and in accordance with ISO 97/23 for welding procedures. The refrigerant gas used in these units is R410A. The refrigerant circuit consists of: capillary tube, Schrader valves for maintenance and control, pressure safety device (according to PED regulation).

Compressor

The compressor is of the rotary type, with thermal overload protection klikson, incorporated into the motor winding. The compressor is mounted on rubber vibration dampers and is supplied, as standard, with a soundproof enclosure to reduce noise emission. Inspection is possible through the front panel of the unit

Condenser and evaporator

Condensers and evaporators are made of copper tubes and aluminum fins. All evaporators are painted with epoxy powder to avoid corrosion problems due to their use in aggressive environments. The diameter of the copper tubes is 3/8 inch and the thickness of the aluminum fins is 0.15 mm. The tubes are mechanically expanded into the aluminum fins to improve the heat exchange coefficient. The geometry of these heat exchangers guarantees low air side pressure, low fan rotation (and low noise emission). All units are supplied, as standard, with a PVC drip tray and all evaporators are supplied with a temperature sensor as an automatic defrost probe.

Fan

The fans are made of galvanized steel, centrifugal type. It is statically and dynamically balanced and supplied. The electric motors are directly connected to the fan; 3 speeds, with integrated thermal protection. The protection class of the motors is IP 54.

Air filter

It is made of synthetic filter media, corrugated type, free of electrostatic charge; it is removable for disposal. Utility class coarse 30%, according to UNI EN ISO 16890:2017.

Microprocessor

All units are supplied with microprocessor controls as standard. The microprocessor controls the following functions: compressor time, automatic defrost cycles, alarms.
The corresponding LCD screen displays the device's operating mode, set operating parameters and alarms.

Electrical box

The electrical distribution board is manufactured in accordance with the electromagnetic compatibility standards CEE 2014/35 and 2014/30. Access to the board is possible by removing the front panel of the unit and setting the main switch to OFF.

Control and protection devices

All units are supplied with the following control and protection devices: defrost thermostat, which signals the microprocessor controller that a defrost cycle is required and controls its termination, high pressure switch with automatic reset, compressor thermal overload protection, fan thermal overload protection.

Testing

All units are fully assembled and connected at the factory, thoroughly cleaned and dried after pressure tightness tests, and then filled with R410A refrigerant.
Fully tested before shipment. All comply with European directives and are individually CE marked and a declaration of conformity is provided.
